    I am looking for fellow fanciers of the NHR strain of chickens.I am trying to research history,Breeders,photos,and ppl with hands on experence with this bloodline. Thanks every1 and may your birds keep scratchin'

    Great looking bunch of chicks! I am looking for any info Ican find on this strain of birds so please Email meany info u may have! Also include your number if u sell chicks cause I am going to breed and will be searching for the best NHR's I can get my hands on!

    I had a NHR cockeral named Yankee that really got me to wondering about this breed. He seemed to grow SO much faster than his broodermates,and I happen to LOVE the orange-ish-red of the plumage. I would love to get some more from good stock. Yankee was from Estes in Mo., I'll see if I can find a pic.He was SUCH a sweetie,& so handsome

    Oh,here he is,as a youngster,I think just barely 5 months old.... he sure was a beautiful,BIG boy!!!
