I knew I was tempting fate when I moved the snow shovel from the back to the shed.

I didn't dare put the shovels away.
we can depend on March for that 1 more snow day. I moved my quails from the barn to outside ( should have known ) . The horses still got upset over them flapping around when they walked thru. They R under the hay storage so they R out of weather & wind. Glad I left blankets on the horses. I just got 7 new baby chicks yesterday & 2 young welsummer hens. Babes R in the house.
Might keep my shovels out till july lol lol

:barnieMarch has a split personality.....it's spring. No wait, It's winter. No wait, It's spring....aaaaahhhhhh! Make up my mind!!
Anyone out there going to have Ameraucana or buckeye chicks?

Ok These R th chicks I got from April, 1 splash Maran is big & no fear of poking me already , so lots of hugging. Twinkle toes is the smallest & the cutest

also I put an open wooden bird feeder in, they all snuggle on the bottom shelf & love standing on the top. Had to put a screen over the tub so they don't get out.

Now planning my coop!!!

Hello, I live in the Londonderry area.

I got some "tetra link" pullets from the TSC recently. One of them
is HUGE and taller than the others. I posted on the "What breed is
this" section of the forum, and the reply I got said she was most
likely a Cornish.
So... what now? She has been fed medicated layer crumbles for
the 4 weeks that I have had her. Anyone out there want a Cornish
hen/cockeral?

Hope everyone is ready for the snow, or is that a big April Fools from
WMUR?
