Hi- I live in Bedford.

No chickens yet, they should be in an incubator somewhere cooking, expecting them (12) before Easter. I can't believe we are to get such a crazy storm tonight/ tomorrow. I was still working on our coop. I just hope it melts quickly

I am over her in Claremont. I have a few Light Brahmas and a few Olive eggere that I hatched out for 2 people who can not take them now. They are for sale if anyone is interested.

You would be surprised how many of us there are in town. We picked up our first girls last fall and the babies came in February. We have cochins, a brahma and a bantam Sussex.

I drive through Bedford every time I fly out of Manchester. Now I know why they have those "slow chicken crossing" signs up

At least the snow is gone and I can get back to digging post holes. I think I got a bit carried away by the size of the run.

We used to live in Merrimack, and I still work there. There are lots of backyard flocks around if you look for them, but many are hidden to avoid unwanted attention.

We didn't get our chickens until we moved to Candia because the neighbors we had in Merrimack would've been a problem.
