I dont raise Dominiques I got hatching eggs from another NH person. From what I have heard about them and read about them they seem like great birds. Are dominiques as sweet as barred rocks?

Dominique hens tend to be calm, personable birds (a desirable trait in an egg production bird). Their calm, steady demeanor makes them successful as show birds or family pets.
The hens tend to be good mothers, brooding and raising chicks with a high rate of success.
The Dominique is hardy and a good forager, traits which are attributed to the harsh conditions in which the breed first developed.
I have 5 Dom mixes (I think 2girls 3boys) and 4 EEs(I think 3girls 1boy) just over 3 weeks old available now. In 2 weeks I will have Easter Eggers and Olive Eggers available as day olds.
