We are in George's mills
Lived in unity up on mica mine 5 years moved last august

Build super secure don't free range if possible most unity flocks get decimated by predators each year one of our neighbors had an entire large flock killed over a month time

Hi I am from unity am new to chickens and trying to set up a safe coop. I still have a few weeks till the chicks will be ready to go outside for first time. Have a coop i bought at tractor supply and am planning a covered pen for protection to go around the whole coop. Any input would be appreciated. My wife is on this forum too Kathycltnh we are both excited to have chickens and don't want anything to happen to them.
