New here! Anyone in else in Jersey?

are you just doing wood for the roof? We did a corrugated metal roof, and all the wood we used is pressure treated. We built it to last lol

Mine are about 6-7 weeks now and they're really starting to looks like cute little hens! It's so exciting watching them grow from little bitties.

I am doing shingles. I am not sure how to work with metal roof.

Hatchery in north nj. I talked with the guy at v&r in andover nj this summer. sounds good to me.

Very new here and new to chickens!! I’d love to hear from and take advice from anyone local!
I’ve got four 4.5 week old chickies right now and I’m already in love and wanting more! Definitely becoming a crazy chicken lady. That’s more dignified than crazy cat lady right? At least I stopped at two cats 😬🙂

here’s some pictures of my adorable RIRs and ISA browns
RIRs are Gertie and Penny(maybe Peter, we’re suspicious)
ISAs are Coka and Vina (coq au vin)
I'm in NJ also!
I have 4 chicks, two ISA and two Easter eggers, one of which is also Gerdie!!
I have two ducks though don't know the breed, think they are mixed. I thought they were Pekin but too lean and the Drake has a ring neck and a diaper butt, that's what it looks like anyway lol
My dog is awesome and I've taught her to "work, watch the chicks" ..
Hens started laying at 16 & 18 weeks the Easter eggers are younger at about 11 weeks right now.
I'm building a run, four posts dug in this week, brutal work!
Love my flock and my cats, pup, have embraced them as well. It's so peaceful to be out with them each day
Good luck with your beauties!
