Yes, I got a Mosin - I made a thread over a month ago talking about it.
Still kicks like a mule, but it's oh-so-much fun.
BTW, with SKS prices, $350 is a good price, especially for one that takes AK mags. I blame Obama.
Gotta hand it to him, he was a spectacular gun salesman.
Missed the post. Congrats on the gun! The crummy triggers on the SKS is what keeps me from getting another one. To be fair, I haven't shot a mosin or an AK so I don't know what they're like. I did shoot my friend's ARs, one was a really nice Rock River Arms model. It's set up to shoot at 600 yard matches, with iron sights. Very, very nice gun. Pricey tho'.
Wednesday I get to pick up my new Springfield XDm. Woot!
..LOL. Salesman of the Year!
So, I'm curious if there's any consensus on what constitutes a good zombie load? Highly fragible? Or would we not want to splatter potentially infectious zombie brain matter all over the neighborhood??
Yeah, you warned me about the triggers. I'm looking at a couple of different AKs - the Chineses MAK-90 and the InterArms AK-47, both of which have pretty good triggers from what I've heard, especially the MAK. High quality and a pretty good price, too!
