Yes I still have my boy, for now. He's 17 weeks and just started crowing so his time is limited. He is going back to the guy I got him from, to live there, he has a lot of roosters. I've been waiting since he isn't noisy and I wanted him to get a little bigger so he could stand up for himself. He won't end up on a dinner plate so that makes me happy. I have three more girls to add to the flock in August. They are hatching this week and when she can tell the sex, I will be getting an Americana, a black copper marans and an olive egger. Ten will be my max. For now 

Hahaha!!! The guy you got your rooster from, do you think he would take my two? I'm looking into if my borough allows roosters, but I want a nice one regardless. Mine have been crowing for a few weeks and no complaints yet. Besides, my immediate neighbors all like him. For now anyway!
