Well lets be positive is is a girl (I am pretty sure but they are only 3 wks). Take her and if it doesn't work ill take her back. Your flock is mellow and with the nice weather coming they will be out more so they will have room to mingle.

just started laying the ground work........................;)

Ben's doing well! I actually ran out and got him a buddy - Blaise, for the little white blaze on his head. They are just about the same age. Still having some "who's the big-bad-rat" issues, so I have a separate cage that I used for a couple of days for them to sleep apart at night, but they are together now. Figured it was best to get a buddy before he decided it was "his" cage. Here's a pic - Ben on the left:

Yes we are close. Yeah didn't know if I could have roosters when my first chick started crowing so he spent awhile in the spare bedroom. When I finally put him back with his peeps he came up on the deck and snuggled with me in the swing. He said no way I don't sleep with them. I had to put him to bed in the coop for a few night before he would go on his own. LOL. I will probably come down to Delmarva on Saturday. I just broke the news to the mister. I think he is chickened out. LOL Nonpun intended.

So if one wasn't enough you went and got a buddy for him. Lol. I hear target might be carry straight jackets. I'm just glad they both have a nice home.

So cute! The one with the black head looks like a Dumbo (a rat with bigger ears on the side of the head instead of the top)
