Njchix- mrs. Pickles is just starting to get her waddles. She looks so cute. Will zazzles get waddles or a comb? Oooh i also 99% convinced the hubby on the GLW. I know he's hooked because he was asking all nonchalant today how old she is and if you had sent a picture. Yup i hooked him.

My girl too. I noticed it yesterday. I can't wait to see the color they lay. She told me they came from birds that laid a 7-8 color in the beginning of their laying cycle. The AM don't get wattles just combs, like an EE. I only have one of the four turning pink. And I posted pics of the girls on the wyandotte thread in breeds section.

It is hard not to bring something home. My son wants some ducks that we saw at the fall sussex show but didn't see the seller. They were black with a purple
sheen.

So five chicks are out! they seem to be taking a while to fluff though and two of the five I've had to help a bit due to no progression over a long period of time. It's odd because the only part that seems to be causing them to stick is the area right around the hole. The rest of the membrane looks ok. Of course though to help those chicks I had to open the incubator which is not what I wanted to do! I grabbed the others out of it while I had it open and added a bit more water. Sounds like two more are peeping and one is pipped. Hopefully these two pop on their own!
