Is anyone interested or know of someone interested in this bantam Cochin cockerel. He was hand raised. very friendly. docile. 9 months old. I. have too many roos.

That Cochin roo is gorgeous! I have one that is lighter than him but similar in color. He is a real sweetie! I wasn't going to keep him but he won me over! I hope you are able to find a good home for your guy!

Anyone in the East Greenwich / Gloucester County area interested in 1 Rhode Island Red and 2 Buff Orpington chicks? They are 3 weeks and selling for $6 each. I have a total of 6 chicks and after weighing it out, I have decided I should keep it to 3 chickens. They are all absolutely adorable.

If anyone nearby has any turkens or Easters eggers, let me know. Even if you plan to order from a hatchery, I'd love to tack on a few so I don't have to order 15 or 25! I was hoping some turkens hatched from my eggs but no luck! I should have some turken mixes hatching from eggs this coming week, but I know how my luck is with roosters. Also, they are so cute as chicks so i would love to have a few more (I swear, I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch!) Ultimately I would be looking for a few pullets if they are older but don't mind straight run chicks.

I have such a hard time finding turkens around here!

I am from Brick. We are new to this but my husband did a lot of research (and when I realized he was serious, so did I ;) ) and he and our boys built a coop and a run in our backyard. We aren't allowed to have them be free range in our town, nor would we want them to be due to the hawks and cats so they are safely enclosed in chicken wire. That being said, when we are home, we occasionally let them out to roam our backyard a bit. Our dog was born on a farm and seems to have a natural herding instinct to get back into the coop ;).

Welcome! You'll love your birds! I live pretty close to you. (I am in Point Pleasant)

Where in point pleasant? I am in the part of brick that is close to point. I saw you posted about the roo...can you have them in point? We can't in brick, which is fine, our neighbors wouldn't like that so much. ;)
