I have peeping from the incubator!!!! Now I'm going to drive myself crazy looking at the eggs for the next 2-3 days. They should all be out by Wednesday, as some of the eggs went in later, do to Mr. Bill my postman taking the eggs for a day long ride through Jackson delivery day. They where marked to leave at PO but no one noticed. Really? I go to pick them up and the guy insists my package is a scam, lol. Went on and on. Then took the time to listen and look up tracking #. Geesh.

Please help me Identify these mystery chicks. chick 1 RED SEX LINK chick 2 5 toes on 1foot NO IDEA. Yellow legs? Maybe leghorn or white rock. chick 3 Looks like it has a crest. Polish cross maybe. chick 4 What color are the soles of feet? Yellow=jersey giant. Pink/white=Austrolop chick 5

No idea. Hmmm

next group black skin and feet but only 4 toes all are 5 weeks old they were a mixed box lot I think they are all mutts except #5 I know she is pure bantam but not what type. Thanks

Those last two with the five toes make e think of some kind of silkie cross. I'm no breed expert though. Maybe Mame will chime in. And could 7 be a silkie or are the feathers wrong? That mix box must have been mixed chicks too, lol. Those egg colors sure will be a surprise.

Does this mean you can actually hear the chicks peeping while still inside the egg? OMG I would sit glued next to the incubator with a bowl of popcorn and just wait. I think watching a chick come out of an egg would be one of the coolest things in the world to witness. Keep us posted!!!

Njchixs- did you keep a FBCM for yourself? Mrs. Pickles is hands down the prettiest girl I have. She is just beautiful. When the sun catches her and her feathers have that green sheen to them and the bright copper neck, she is stunning. She's also the sweetest thing ever.

Yes I did. The two where the only girls unfortunetly. I'm glad she a nice girl. I can't wait for them to lay an egg.

Yes I can hear a chirp from inside the egg. I couldn't believe it. I sit there literally staring at the eggs. It's going to be a long day.
