We're thinking of putting up some electric fencing. Any thoughts?

I think they are relitively simple. May be a good idea. Are they still outside? If you could only see if something is snooping around but avoiding the trap. What are you setting it with? I know the birds liked it.

The chickens are still in the garage while the roof is being built. I've been setting the trap with sardines and that's what the first skunk (a baby) went after. The next baby skunk went after the smell of the sardines since the trap was empty but the smell was probably still around because the first skunk made a mess. The third skunk was an adult and I have a feeling it may have been tracking the smell of the babies since the trap was still not baited. Each time there was a skunk in the trap it really tore up the ground trying to dig out so maybe the birds went in to pick at the turned up dirt.
You can tell I've given this some thought That's my theory anyway.

Boy that is a lot of skunks in your vincity. Keep trapping. There must be more.

I met Sunnychooks the other day. She was very nice and showed me her flock and thae adorable goats she had. Such a small world, not only did we have a lot in common (dog show world) we had a mutual friend. I ended up bringing home two exchequer leghorns that I hope will be girls, otherwise I will be asking her for the nice, old polish lady's phone # LOL. I will post pics later I'm mobile right now.

No I won't be going. Besides being a little far, I could only make a Sunday. Every other day something is going on. I am going to try and make it to the October Sussex poultry show

I go once a year, the spring show was fine (long drive).
