New kitten but it's the railroads fault! PICS added page 2

Kitten appears to be 5 to 6 weeks old or so. Has it's canine teeth but the incisors are barely through the gum. Very long body, but very skinny. It has apparently been living on bugs because I watched it catch a few and eat them.

It's a boy and he'll get a name eventually; also a bath and an ear cleaning.

No, he's a lot older than that. 12 or so weeks. That's when they get sleek like that, and his incisors may be barely through b/c the baby ones fell out already. But kitten teeth are tiny anyway. A skinny 6 week old would look different, bony and fuzzy. That sleekness is a growth spurt in progress!

Cute kitten though my guess would be more like 3 - 5 months old but undernourished (which I'm sure will be remedied soon!). Love those big white whiskers!

He's very affectionate and DH isn't mad, so it's all good. He is going to have to get used to the dogs though, they have to go out to potty sometime. They won't harm a cat since they are used to living and playing with two of em, but of course kitten doesn't know that.

I have a former feral cat that used to be petrified of our dog. Now they wrestle & play together. Kind of funny to see a 100 pound dog and a 10 pound cat go at it - they sound like they are going to massacre each other but they are just playing. Yours will adapt, I'd say.
This is actually a great age to get a kitten because you can get a good sense of their personality and they are a lot of fun, but not too old where they are set in their ways.

Can you get a weight on him? I'm gonna guess 2-3 lbs. He doesnt even look skinny to me, not in an unhealthy way, just in a kitten way. If he's that big you can tote him right in to get snipped!

What a cute face. I love the white whiskers and the dark face. I think he is a cute little bug...I also think he is about 12 weeks old.
