New layer playing tricks on me

I have a couple of olive eggers that are newly laying (about a month). Today I got a small egg with blood on it and was like oh yay we have a new layer! I looked on the camera to see who it was and it was one that was already laying.. it was a fraction of the size that she's been laying (not a fairy egg, just first egg pullet sized) and I figured the blood was because it was from a first timer.

I have 6 more pullets that I am waiting to start laying. Got my hopes up for nothing ..

New layers need time to adjust there eventual egg size. So it's not uncommon to see hiccups once in a while during this process.
