Hello, whoever reads this, it's such a pleasure to be part of this community!
I suppose that I'll share the reason I'm on this site, since I'm sure everyone has a exciting and unique story!
I'm majoring in a horticultural program, as well as being a member of Future Farmers of America, not that anyone's heard of it.
Being in this program at a high school age, I was required to partake in an agricultural experience.
I'm stubborn, so I chose to raise a pair of goslings that I'll have as of mid to late February. Hoping to get my own farm later on!
I'd love to hear about your stories, and I'm looking forward to learning a lot!

Hello!
400

Welcome to BYC and the coop! There's a lot of great peeps here! Feel free to ask lots of questions. But most of all, make yourself at home. I'm so glad you decided to join the BYC family. I look forward to seeing you around BYC. :frow

It's nice to have you here! I think FFA is a well known program...hope you are enjoying it and have fun with the geese. When you get your geese, I hope you'll post a picture of them to share with us. What breed are you getting?

I will be getting saddleback pomeranians, and I will happily post pictures of them when they're here! I just hope I'll be able to take good care of them.

If you haven't already found it, there is a section in the Learning Center about raising geese. Also, there's a forum for them where you can ask questions and get input from other members that have geese.

Good luck to you!

Greetings from Kansas, pomnovice, and :welcome! Great to have you in our community! I also think FFA is a great program! I have a pair of Poms myself, along with two Chinese and a single Toulouse. Great additions to the farmyard! :)

Welcome!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends
