New member! Lice/mite problems…

Hello from the Pacific NW ! I’m on an island in the San Juans in Wa state! I have 5 wonderful chickens: 3 1-yr olds & 2 elders: 1 is 12 and 1 is 17+ (adopted!). I’ve had chickens for 12 years (not the same ones!) and have learned a lot , but still have questions! I’ve dropped into BYC multiple times, and have always found valuable info, so I decided I should join. For the 1st time in 12 years, I think I have a mite/lice problem . So I came here to figure out what to do about it!

Welcome to BYC!! For mite problems I'd say try posting a thread in the predator/pest section or managing flock. Not sure if maybe it could go in the emergencies forum? Don't have much experience myself but that way the more knowledgeable people can see it

Hello and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.
Have you treated the birds with a permethrin based poultry spray, stripped every bit of bedding out of the coop and sprayed every surface with permethrin and rebedded with fresh bedding then repeated all of this again in 7 days and again in 14 days after the first treatment?
