Not yet… but I’m heading that direction! Thanks for the suggestions!!!Hello and welcome to BYC!Glad you joined.
Have you treated the birds with a permethrin based poultry spray, stripped every bit of bedding out of the coop and sprayed every surface with permethrin and rebedded with fresh bedding then repeated all of this again in 7 days and again in 14 days after the first treatment?
I just ordered some today!Welcome to BYC. This is a good product for use on your birds and their surroundings

Welcome!Wow! Thanks to everyone for their nice welcoming wishes and advice!!! I went out after dark last night and shown my flashlight in the coop, expecting to be totally grossed out with the visions of mites running up my poor girls’ legs, and … nothing! So, now I’m thinking it’s lice! Tomorrow I’ll do a thorough inspection looking for the little buggers and checking the base of feathers for nits. Thanks for all of the great info!!!
Ok, I’m ready to use this! I’m just sorting out logistics as reading the back of the container is scarey!!! Could you talk me through how you did it?! I was thinking a chair in the chicken area, a bath towel on my lap, mask and maybe eye protection?!Welcome to BYC. This is a good product for use on your birds and their surroundings
