Hi I’m a new never to byc, I super happy to be a member, I have “owned” chickens before but I was super young, I have recently order chicks from Murray McMurray they are currently 3 days old so I was wondering if anyone has anyone has any tips or hacks, I was wondering when I could give them treats like boiled eggs, thanks in advance.

Definitely give them grit from early on, make sure it's chick grit. I give my day olds a mix of sand and grit. For treats, Eggs are low protein but have the perfect balance of amio acids for a chick. Meal worms are high protein treats. Sparingly is key. When I raise meat birds, I'll give them 10 or so meal worms twice a day for 40 birds to get them running around. The first time you give them a treat they'll likely run away as they don't know what sort of monster you just put in there, but that will fade fast.
