(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I’ve been around chickens my whole life, but I haven’t ever really paid attention to them so I’m new to owning them. I got them at the end feb.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Currently 1 I had 4 but 3 died soon after getting them.

(3) What breeds do you have? I can’t remember her breed

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I love my chicken very much. She’s spoiled and think she’s a cat

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I handle snakes

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a husband 2 boys 12 snakes 9 cats 2 dogs 1 rabbit 1 Chicken

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D

Was on the internet looking for some answers and happened up on this and decided to join.

Welcome to Backyard Chickens- glad to have you with us! I love snakes and other reptiles (amphibians too) myself. :ya

I love my snakes and when I got my chickens and they died I thought this one would too and she didn’t. And I fell in love with her. I really didn’t want anymore chickens. That’s why I only have her. Her name is chicklynn. She’s currently an inside chicken. I take her out side but she doesn’t like being in the yard. I’ll put her down and leave her and she runs back to me and gets in my lap and stays. She doesn’t like outside at all. I wanna make sure she’s healthy but she try’s to act like a cat. I mean she does the things a chicken is supposed to do but she thinks she’s one of my cats.

Aw, she sounds cute! Silly chooks, always a sense of humor and lightheartedness.
I have a roo that was attacked by a hawk when he was a baby- he can't fly anymore, but he spins, chases his tail, comes when his name is called, and thinks he's a puppy :P
