As I cannot remember, how does the taste differ from chicken eggs?
Hubby just tried one of our first duck eggs and said it tasted the same as chicken eggs. He did say it was fun though having a normal-sized egg. We've only had silkie eggs for nearly a decade. :)

For almost a year now, we've been eating duck eggs. I haven't had any chicken eggs until recently, when I was made... scrambled chicken eggs that sat too long on the pan. Lol. Whenever I make my scrambled duck eggs, they're fluffy and good, don't know what else to describe them as. In sunnyside up eggs, they tend to break easier, and we get double yolks sometimes. With chicken eggs, I don't really recall, but to me, duck eggs are better. I don't know how to describe it; it's probably just the bias that they came from my flock. I used them to make banana bread once as well, and the banana bread turned out fine, even though the mix called for two eggs. I just used one. But all in all... I just like the duck eggs because they came from my ducks. And whenever we get goose eggs, it's always a joyful event haha, we love our goose girl.
