Well my silkies are only 3 weeks old. i would want to be sure what i have first. I cant have any extra males. Im sure you will probly have found them a home by then. But if not and i need one i will let you know.

hey everyone, trying to find out if buckeye's would tolerate our climate here. Im in Albuquerque city limits an going to setting up a coop and getting a few birds soon. would love to get buckeyes since i remember these birds from when i was young on my cousins grandparents farm

I am going to be in Edgewood on Saturday Morning. I just got confirmation back from Natalie (the organizer) that I can participate in the Swap so if anyone is intrested in the recently imported blue egg laying Cream Legbar Breed. I will bring some of the chicks that I hatch out this week for anyone that commits to buy them in advance. I will be on the road after 5:30 PM today, so all pre-sales will have to be spoken for today.

What kind of female ducks are you looking for? I have Pekins and am supposed to be (slowly) replacing them with Muscovy. I have 3 girls I'd be willing to part with for the right price or trade.

Well, it seems $20 is the going rate for a female Pekin. Mine should be laying soon, unless they decide to suck and wait until spring (they were hatched in the spring) to lay. Helen (my bestest Pekin lady) was laying at 5 months. I plan on keeping her (she's also the noisiest).

If you don't mind my asking, why do you have so many males if you're not raising for eats?
