I was wondering since i don't have shelf liner i read some one used cloth ? Can i just cut a clean rag in the shape i need and lay the eggs on it for lock down ?? Cuz my try in the incubator is full of holes XD to hold eggs

Turned the eggs for the morning a vit ago bow sitting here making sure the temp stays right with small adjustments since it wants to act stupid when i open the lid all the way but i was wondering is this the right size for button quail xs is size 2 it says on the back.

Those look good for chicks. They will probably be too small for adults, so keep an eye on them as they grow.

O.O/ ok so its day 13 candled eggs and opened them they stopped earlyer and duds im down to 7 of them with 2 of them I'm a lil iffy and the rest hold my small hopes o.o so in the end 7 down now and 7 left lock down starts tonight or tomorrow this is the way i got the last 7 set up now think thats good placement and good spots for the thermometers to be placed at ? Any comments help o.o/

Those look like they were not fertile for all but two of them. It is hard to tell on the other two what was going on in them.

This is the incubator i stupidly got off amazon thinking oh its amazon it can't be bad so wrong could have tossed in 20$ more and got a better one why did u want to know o.o?

To see how stable of an incubator you have.

Those models are not the most stable ones for holding temps.

Amazon carries a lot of good stuff, but they also carry a lot of crap. It's been removed now, but I saw a four egg incubator being sold for $100. The description said it was good to hatch chicken, turkey, quail, ostrich, and donkey eggs.
