Just changed the duckling setup because I noticed they were starting to spend more time away from the heat lamp. Moved them into a bigger rubber bin for the time being which allows them to get further away from the heat lamp.

Do ducks enjoy anything to play with? I initially had the two new thermometers too low to the ground and they would not stop playing with them.

TSC has them and also Amazon put meal worms in there and they will have a blast.

Nope, think that was just a sleepy duckling. We have three healthy boys now. Here's a video of them at five days:

Quick question, I've read a lot of conflicting opinions about when I can let my ducklings start swimming. I let my Khakis start swimming (supervised) at about 10 days. If anyone has an opinion about the appropriate age I'd love to know. I'm considering letting the ducks go into a warm bath tomorrow. I would of course dry them off after they finished and watch them the whole time.

They'll love it. As long as they are warm and put right back under heat lamp after you pat dry no problem, They are adorable
