New Pekins- Slightly Worried about One

They'll love it. As long as they are warm and put right back under heat lamp after you pat dry no problem, They are adorable :love
@Miss Lydia your word was enough for me to give it a shot! Here's them swimming in some warm water. I propped a backup storage tote at an angle so they could easily walk in and out of the water. They had a blast and will now be swimming daily!

Have you been picking them up to pet and cuddle them? Aside from the squee/cuuuute/adorable aspect, as I understand it getting them acclimated to being handled at an early age will probably make your life way easier when you have to handle them for inspecting/treating injuries, moving to different areas, etc. after they're fully grown.

And get we get video of the petting because squee/cuuute/adorable?

I have not been handling them very much. Maybe once a day I make a point to pick each of them up and give them a quick pet. I’ll try and get a video of them being held tomorrow.

All of my other ducks are quite skittish so I honestly didn’t expect any better out of these. I have read that Pekin’s are more friendly and if I start now possibly they will be better than my other birds.

Just a quick photo today. Made the change to wood shavings with puppy pads. Seems a lot more manageable. Also, is there a way for me to edit the post title? Don't want people to think this thread is about one of the ducklings being sick.

Are you on desk top or phone? if desk top you can see where it says edit. On my I phone there are little lines on the left bottom, I click that and edit will be one of the words that comes up.

As far as I can tell you have to be a Premium Feather member (or part of the website staff) to do that. Maybe try to e-mail/contact one of the staff to change it for you (or buy a membership).
