new pet special silky, fantailed pigeon. plz help

He carries the mutant gene, .where he cant fly! I got him at a swap few weeks ago, at a swap. I feed him, water him clean out his habitat, but he seems to only enjoy males because his former owner was a male. Any tips or tricks on getting this little guy to warm up to me?

NOW that is what I was going to post.

It is getting now that I have to wear long sleeved attire and a cap each time I enter the loft the pigeons swarm me something a kin to Alfred Hitchcock's movie "The Birds" for their treat. My flock is up to 42 birds now.

On a related note I am proud of one of this years birds it recently did a 40+- solo flight from a internment at a cemetery to the south of my loft. I placed a black zip tie on his leg so I could differentiate from the rest of the flock. I now call him Bruce Lee as he has a black belt in homing.
