The other people posting on this page probably know a lot better than I do about the breeds but she looks a lot like my jersey giant pullet. Because of the shape and the color of the legs. They look kind of like a dark slate
As far as gender I’d say pullet

I also have a BJG... The biggest difference between the two breeds is BJG have yellow foot bottoms, Austrolorps have pinkish white gray. From the pics, this one looks pinkish.

I really had to zoom in but I see what you’re saying they do have some pink to it. I think my problem is I have to do all this through a small smart phone so pictures are a bit harder for me to see. Yup my bjg Has dark slate legs with slightly yellow foot bottoms

A lot of the time you can see the pink or yellow between the toes, the yellow on the JG really stands out though. Looks like an Australorp pullet to me!

And you’re probably right. I definitely see the pink you’re talking about but not as good with my breeds as a lot of you. I’ll get there one day

I looked up austrolorps and she does look like one but I don’t even remember her mentioning that she breeds those.

Did she tell you What she breeds. If you can remember maybe it can help you narrow it down

Just like the other that I accidentally posted pictures of here, she was supposed to have been a he and a blue Orpington and is neither! Still not completely sure of her breed either. She can’t be a Cochin because the lady doesn’t have those.

Do you know if she had French Black Marans? I know you said you got some French Black Copper Marans. She looks like she could be a FBM mix.
