Feathered legs are not the same as foot feathers. Capuchines have large feathers covering their feet. Jacobins don't.

If I can find a good picture of both I will post them.

Ok, Im learning stuff here, lol. If those birds at the feedstore were Jacobins, Im going to flip.

Okay I did a web searc h for pigeon pictures and found the pictures but I can't figure out how to upload them to this board. In both pictures neither breed has feathered feet, it's just the difference in the hood size it seems but I am gonna research this a bit further and find out definitely. I still think they are Jacobins.

My feedstore sells everything! Let me list everything I can think of:

Adult chickens
Adult ducks
Peafowl
Pheasants
Pigeons
Poults
Chicks
Keets
Goslings
Ducklings
Parakeets
Canaries
Cockatiels
Lovebirds
Finches
Button Quail
Corturnix Quail
Bobwhite Quail
Doves
Goats on occasion
Piglets on occasion
If someone brings in something to sell, they'll do that. They've sold adult geese for me.
And they'll hatch your eggs for you if you dont have a bator!

I wonder what I left out!

Chuck, The thing with the hoods is I think the Jacobin hood completely covers the head, where the Capuchines are like a mane behind their head. I dont know though, like you said, they could be young Jacobins.
