"All I know he was off in the forest," Sterling said simply he knew he'd be able to find the dragon if needed but he didn't know who she was and what her antintions where.

Kaydar thought for a moment, the mare silent in his arms, the wind billowing beneath his massive wings. With a slight tilt of his wings he was shooting toward the canopy below, closing his wings tight to his side as he parted the branches. He snapped his wings open once more before colliding with the ground, landing neatly on his hind legs. He felt the Younlings sliding off of his back and he positioned his tail so that they slipped down it and landed at his powerful feet. He set the horse down beside them, shifting back to his biped form. He searched the satchel behind the horse's saddle and pulled out a set of clothing that would hide his wings and claws. There was nothing to hide his torn ears, but his long white hair made the strangeness of them hard to detect. He donned the cloak with a flourish, looking to the Younglings. "I know the place well, or I did once. It isn't the palace I seek, but someone there may know of it's whereabouts." He swung up onto his saddle, guiding the mare back onto the path at a quick pace.
Keeper grabbed Gardenia's wrist and swung her up onto his back. He took off swiftly, following the mare, knowing that if he lost sight of her they may never find them again. It was a good thing that he was light on his feet and as swift as the wind, because the mare was very sure footed. Keeper spoke softly to Gardenia. "We must not lose our Sire, even though we are but children in his eyes my feeling is that we will play a great part in his journey."

((Welcome back.))
Kaydar's mare leapt onto the forest path, leaves and dirt flying into the air behind her. He could hear the Centaur behind him only because all Dragon's had a keen sense of hearing. The creature was more agile than a Centaur should have been, smarter. The Pixie was just as strange, with her spots that now glowed like lamplight in the gathering darkness. Or perhaps it was he who was the strange one, perhaps the word had merely changed whil he was away. Nothing was as it had been, his thoughts darkened and he trembled. Without her nothing would ever be the same.
