4 boneless pork chops (3/4" thick)
1tsp garlic powder
1tbs veg oil (i used olive oil and butter combined to fry the chops in)
1 med. onion chopped
1 can (10 3/4 oz) Campbells Condensed Golden Mushroom Soup
1/4 cup water
1 can (8 oz) pineapple chunks, undrained ( I used a couple oz more than called for cause i had a bigger can...)
3 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs honey
2 cups hot cooked white rice
sliced green onion
1. Season chops with garlic powder ( I also used Lawrys season salt and blk. pepper)
2. Heat oil in 10in skillet over med-high heat. Add pork and cook until well browned on both sides. (then i took the chops out and set on a plate, and cooked the onion for a few minutes, to soften it some and get it a bit browned, then added chops back to pan..)
3. Stir onion, soup, water, pineapple with juice, soy sauce and honey in skillet and heat to boil. Reduce heat to low. Cook 10 minutes or until porkis cooked through. Serve pork and sauce with rice and sprinkle with green onion... ( i didnt use green onion... didnt have any..
