I've had a possum that visits every night for over a year. I keep a bowl of cheap cat food on the porch for the stay cats I feed. If the bowl is empty the possum will sit on the window ledge and look in the kitchen window until I fill the bowl.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! That is so sweet Pelican!!!! He's cute too! I opened the front door once last night and he was eating and took off running, well, waddling, probably back under the cars until I went back inside! He seems harmless, but then I am feeding him consistently. I asked the one neighbor I talk to alot if he had seen him and he hasn't, so he must be sneaking around just at dark, I don't want anyone to kill him out of fear or dislike. I think it's kinda cool to have a possum for a pet, lol!!

They have a Possum Festival in Rhonesboro, TX. They serve up some possum.
