New Rescued Dog *pics*

He is so cute. I have a doxie/basset mix named Maxx. We were his 3rd home. The lady that advertised him in the paper said if someone didnt get him he was going to the shelter. He is a houdini. He can and has escaped most fences. Scaled a 6 ft privacy fevce once and has chewed through them. He is not allowed anywhere near my chickens. Inbetween the dog area and chickens we have a 6 foot chain link and 6 foot privacy fence. This is my Maxx

I see a lot of beagle in those eyes. All of my beagles have that sad soulful look that in my experience is only found in a hound. His markings make me think beagle mix too.

P.S he also have very beagly body language IMHO but maybe I'm jus be'in silly
