New Silkie - toes turned in. Fixing Minion's feet

I put vet wrap above and below his hock (above his actual foot). Very hard to do on a tiny tiny leg. Each piece was a long "triangle" shape to distribute tension better. I just wrapped it once and pinched the points of the triangle together. He can stand a bit better... but won't walk with that foot. I am already accepting the fact he probably won't be able to be an outside chicken and will have to be a house pet, I just want him to have a quality of life he can be comfortable with. I don't mind having a house chicken that will have to have diapers on or crow all day, I just want him to be able to enjoy life... I will keep working on his leg.

Minion was not AS BAD when I got home today. I put his vitaminized water in water bottle caps in several places and they were dry when I got home, not sure if he knocked them over or drank. If he can learn to feed and water himself... My poor late Chicken Little was a wry neck chick and I had to hand feed and water her for SIX MONTHS until she learned to do it on her own. She was a house chicken I would bring to work with me every day like my geese (I work at a horse stable so its not THAT weird to do every day) BUT one day Chicken Little followed me to my golf cart and got under the tire and I didn't know...OMG OMG OMG. IT WAS HORRIBLE. I loved her so much...omg....

I can only imagine how awful as you feel they are you pets.. I was raised on a farm but you love them like me and my horse or dogs

Minion is in a flat basket as it drains and keeps Minion dry. I am TRYING to teach Minion how to use the water bottle and it also slowly drips into the bottle cap under it so I am also TRYING to teach Minion how to drink from that. Still just giving water by hand but it feeds itself but it is VERY undersized, VERY needy, and VERY loving. House chicken in the making for sure...
