One is definitely a cockeral, I can't tell for sure on the other. You'll know for sure if they start crowing.

    oh
    Ok

    Which is the rooster though?

I called up the feed store lady(she saw which chickens we bought), and she said we got 2 hens, strongly. Which is why she got us on a lay crumble. They had roos also, who were crowing. She said at 5 months, the roos all crowed...

I almost 100% sure you have a hen and a roo.

They both look like girls to me, but I would not wager. Five months is early, although these are PQ. Silkies mature more slowly than many other breeds.

All chickens have spurs. They do not develop much on hens for most breeds. Think of them as being like breasts in humans--we all have them, but they don't develop much on boys.

Can you take full body photos level with the bird (not looking downfrom above), and not so large that it more than fills the screen, yet not so small you cannot see it? Take a profile and also one straight on.

I agree with Sonoran on this one. Looks like two girls to me as well, after viewing the second set of pictures that is.

When I saw the first set, I thought 1 boy, 1 girl. But, after looking at the second set of somewhat more proportional pictures, looks like 2 girls.

Hopefully a third set won't change my mind. HA! [IMG]
