New to BYC - Red Sex Link or Rhode Island Red Chick??

These guys look -exactly- like the chicks we got from TSC, and we were told they were RSL.

If you hear otherwise, let me know!

@campbell5 She is definitely a RIR! She is super friendly, though larger than ALL my other older hens, and she is usually picked on by the Welsummer. Go figure! What did yours turn out to be? By the way, the bottom pic is the neighborhood cat that just hangs with them all day. It looks scary, but the kitty is actually just really friendly and likes their outdoor fan.

She is a beautiful bird! Don't put too much faith in temperment descriptions. I have 4 RIR's, 2 hens and 2 roo's, that are more docile than my Buff Orps. I, also, have a group of Lavender Orp chicks that are extremely flighty and skittish. Nothing like the descriptions I had read.

Thanks @Angry Cupcake ! Yeah, the GLW's are super flighty and quiet, the RIR is sweet and inquisitive, the Ameraucana squats and want's to be held all the time, and the Welsummer is LOUD, pecks at the others, and is only nice to me. Starting to think there's really no breed-specific temperaments at all…

How pretty! Mine turned out to be production reds. :) I'll have to snag a picture later!
