New to BYC

Hello again, I'm going to try and answer all of the reply questions at once.
Everyone has said maybe to crowded....which is probably true. Moving to a different location in the next few days. It is a 8x4 coop with a 15x8 run, which i hope will solve some of my problem
I am in Southern Md. The pen i have at this time is a 10 long x 6 wide x 6 high old dog run, with tarps on sides and one on front that i can roll up to get into it. Have 5 perches about 3 1/2 ft of ground, had 1 feeder on ground now have changed to 2 hanging from roof, had 1 1 gal. water bowl (rubber bowl) on ground, now have added a 1 gal hanging waterer to the pen also from the roof. Today i hung 2 heads of cabbage and a bundle of kale in the pen and it seams that they are paying more attention to them than the other birds. and once again i have 12 birds in the pen. I feed them laying feed, and i mix meal worms, oats, black sun flower seeds and chicken scratch together, each in separate feeders. I have 2 cat litter buckets i use that are on the ground. I'm thinking that maybe the birds are getting pecked while in the nest laying their eggs

Welcome to the chicken capital of the Internet! :clap
As mentioned by others, overcrowding could be the issue. Are you using Blu Kote for the injuries?
We would love to see photos. Not just of the injuries and coop, but of all your various animals. Getting to know people, and making new friends is exciting!
I'm not using Blu Kote, read that that may create a new target. I have her in a crate in my garage, and I'm cleaning wound and using Vetericyn spray....3 times a day.

So happy you joined the roost! And MERRY CHRISTMAS! :wee
