Looks like wound from FlyStrike. If the maggots are still there, then you'll have to rid the hen of them.

Yea they are. Can the maggots be found anywhere on the floor? Or inside the coop?

I would look inside the wound.
Is the hen responsive, able to eat/drink?

It also looks like she may have had a heavy lice/mite infestation. I would check the rest of your flock to be safe.

I check everyone's butts at least once to twice a week during the hotter months of the year. That way if there's ever an issue, it's dealt with promptly.
