Hello, Lloyd, and welcome to BYC. Muscovies generally are not prolific egg layers. They tend to lay a clutch and then go broody. I suppose that if you remove their eggs daily you might extend their laying cycle. good luck with your flock.

Yeah, we did know this. They are primarily just pets with the added bonus of eggs occasionally, we have thought about getting 2 or 3 more that are more prolific layers later in the year after the lockdown is over. We’ll see how we get on.

Muscovy are one of my favorite breed of Ducks. Once they get to know you they will be like little dogs following you around and wagging their tails. Come on over to the duck forum and introduce yourself and them.
