New to pigeons

I've had chickens for years and have also had quail but recently (April 19th) I picked up some pigeons. they are settling in nicely they will now fly right down when I feed them. I have one female and two males, none of them are homers. How long should I wait before I let them out to fly?

Ok, so they aren't homers … What kind are they? Perhaps the first question is "Should I let them out to fly?
There is a saying Don't fly any bird you can't bear to lose.

If they are fancy breeds or show birds maybe you should just make them a flight pen so they will be safe.

It would be great to see some photos of your pigeons! If you can tell a bit more about them and your goals for them, you will get more relevant advice. Is your loft set up with a bob trap and a settling cage?

Hello there! good job getting oigeonsr! you won't regret it!

How old are the birds? do you know what breed they are? If they are rollers, they can be let out after 2 weeks if they've seen the outside a bunch and are trap trained.

it if they are, say, Siberian highflyers, you need to wait three months atleast.

Do you have a trap? If so, make sure they know how to use it AND how to use it.I
