Hello all you Pea-lovers!!!

I am new here to this wonderful world of Peafowl knowledge and would love to learn lots about them. If there's anything you'd like to teach me about Peafowl, I'd love it and be so grateful for all the knowledge just waiting for me to learn!

Thank you in advance!

Welcome to BYC! Do you have any Peas yet, and if you do what variety? Everybody loves pics here, so you can post lots of those and nobody will complain. They are such beautiful birds I don't think we will ever get tired of looking at them.

Thank you! I currently do not own any Peafowl. I'm just here to bask in the knowledge everyone here shares amongst yourselves.

You have come to the right place. Just reading over the threads you will learn a huge amount, I know I did. Any questions, feel free to ask. We have 37 Peas currently, though I do need to sell some yearlings this spring. We started with Black Shouldered and now have those plus, India Blue, white, purple, opal, pied, silver pied, burmese green, spalding, and a bronze bs.

Before I got peafowl I liked reading over a bunch of peafowl breeder sites and googling photos of peafowl. Flickr has nice photos of peafowl if you don't get enough of a photo fix here. Before I got peafowl I made a powerpoint and filled it with some helpful links and good information, but most of it is filled with photos of peafowl. In total it is 2,451 slides long, but I stopped adding to it because it was taking too long to load.

I was surprised when I started looking into peafowl at how much information there is out there about peafowl. Sure there isn't a bunch of info about them compared to chickens, but still it is pretty amazing and since I have gotten into peafowl l have found that many people at least know of someone who has peafowl.

Here are some of my favorite websites for information, pictures, etc.
