New too raising chickens, need help sexing my BR

I am new to raising chickens and recently got this barred rock with a few other chicks. I have done some research to try and help me identify this little chick and would like outside opinions!

So it is a bit early to tell the gender, 6-8 weeks is when we could give you a more accurate guess. Also, and I could be mistaken, I’m sure that’s a BR

Yep to early. Should be able to give a pretty accurate guess around 4 weeks and be certain around 8 weeks. Depending on how fast your babies feather. This is if they are pure BRs.

You have two pretty pullets!

Both look like hens to me! Roosters are a lot lighter in color and have bigger combs by now, nice job!

Dark barring suggests that they are pullets.
