"Well, how'd you get here?" She asked.
"I believe we were shipped and left here by accident by our owners. We sat in the sun for awhile, until some of the chickens broke out of their boxes. So now we're stuck here in Australia, happier then we've ever been!" Degan answered her.

"Man, I'm surprised you've adapted so well." She said, shocked but pleased.
"I haven't really been able to adapt to the heat yet. That's why I hide out in mid day until late afternoon. I pant more then a dog left in a car, in the summer time!" Degan told her.

"As long as they're not a threat, I don't mind." She said. "I'm in Sarotoo's brother's flock. Though I don't like him very much, all he does is be mean and breed." She said.
"I saw that little show they put on the other day, absolutely brutal." Degan commented.
