"That sounds awful!" She said.
"To you, it would be. But to me, it's all I've ever known. Until now, at least. Now I understand what a bleak existence I had." Degan said reflectivitly.

"That sounds awful!" She said.
"To you, it would be. But to me, it's all I've ever known. Until now, at least. Now I understand was a bleak existence I had." Degan said reflectivitly.
"Well, how'd you get here?" She asked.
"I believe we were shipped and left here by accident by our owners. We sat in the sun for awhile, until some of the chickens broke out of their boxes. So now we're stuck here in Australia, happier then we've ever been!" Degan answered her.
"Man, I'm surprised you've adapted so well." She said, shocked but pleased.
"Well, you'll get used to it sometime." She said and smiled."I haven't really been able to adapt to the heat yet. That's why I hide out in mid day until late afternoon. I pant more then a dog left in a car, in the summer time!" Degan told her.
"Well, you'll get used to it sometime." She said and smiled.
"As long as they're not a threat, I don't mind." She said. "I'm in Sarotoo's brother's flock. Though I don't like him very much, all he does is be mean and breed." She said."You don't mind all these strange chickens in you territory?" Degan inquired.
"As long as they're not a threat, I don't mind." She said. "I'm in Sarotoo's brother's flock. Though I don't like him very much, all he does is be mean and breed." She said.
"Yeah, I rather like Sarotoo, he's more caring." She said."I saw that little show they put on the other day, absolutely brutal." Degan commented.
