Absolutely gorgeous Black Giant Rooster.

His only imperfection is some tiny tan spots on his back. A splash of his daddy's genes.. but he is almost all mama.. Black Jersey Giant.

@penny1960 I thought at first was going to be more barred rock like wickedchicken6, until the penciling started kicking in.

She looks mean but mild mannered. No fuss while being picked up for the photo op..

I don't know what to make of it. What to call the patterns, except.. barnyard mix.

DH was snappin' pix that day while I was holding the six NYDHAL birds. Aurora flapped off my hands and made a mad dash from the 3 free Roosters that were running right towards her. The camera didn't capture that.
The boys were like... NEW BIRD! I'M FIRST! NO I AM!. Those guys were running like track stars!
