Just did a last turn on the Canadian Pods..
3 day count down starts NOW. Wednesday Hatch with any luck, their will be 2 Canadian Roostersor pullets.
@BantyChooks and @Wickedchicken6 will finally have poultry on Lazy H Farm named after them.
Did a last second candle about 15 mins ago. Poor photographs but nothing but air sack lights up. Solid mass.

I'll have a brooder set up by tomorrow. I have 6 months to save up money for BBQ sauce.. oops, I mean treats for them. yeah.. treats. That's what I meant..
Actually I will breed mutts w/them. Crosses sell well here in our area.

Everybody else. The fantastic 4 have been moved to a jumbo pool brooder. Pix coming shortly. I have been sick and also concentration has been all on my breeder houses to get ready for Spring Sales.
Oh & Ducks.. if you didn't know already.

Yours has mass and looks good according to hub's diagnostics.View attachment 1239013 I haven't gone near the eggs since I went under the weather. I am told some of the back ups are duds.
He marked them with an x and left them in for a second opinion later. Also the light can wasn't used for the pix. We have a giant tin can with a hole punched in it. These were taken while just placing the eggs on the flashlight without it.
Looks like plan "A" is working. Good news eh?
I got off the sofa to upload the camera card just for Banty! Right after the guilt trip..
The others are active and strong. I'll work more on this thread in the near future. Until then, I'm crawling back under the covers until feeding and bedding later.

I can't believe how big they are!!! I also can't believe that our eggs are just about ready to hatch!

Time flies when you're having fun...er...at the hospital way too much!

That Southie Canadian egg hatched about 3 hrs ago.. Dry & scuttling around.. In the brooder warm @ 99.5F.

Banty is playing "peek'a-boo"..

I'll have better pix in a bit. Trying to make a late supper and juggle a ton of things at once..

I am pleased to announce that a 100% hatch has occured with both Canadian eggs!
Baby Wicky yesterday eve and Baby Bantie early this morning.. I told you I wasn't going to give up until I had ALL 6 chickens as planned from @ronott1 's Original NYDHAL, and it took me until Jan. 25th to get what I need..
