Oh !!! Question for all. Do any of you deal with meat rabbits? If so would you possibly have any babies come spring? I can have housing set up by then I just need to know in advance.

I'm setting up for rabbits next year. I met a gal at last Chickenstock and her rabbits look very good so I hope to get them from her. If you can't source any by then, I will be happy to pick some up for you.

I know there were several people at this year's chickenstock with rabbits. I was one of them, but in Sept I sold & processed all of my stock. I do know someone within 1/2 hour from me who I got my stock from. They've been raising meat rabbits for 20+ years and have a very nice setup.

I will have duel purpose Marans available for chickenstock .... will only bring hatching eggs if there is interest - they are Pure Marans - but feather color will be mixed - so they won't be show birds, although the parents are very quality birds. I have them for dark eggs and meat ... not to show - so they are perfect for me.

If on the fence - I can send pics of the parent birds ... I won't isolate into breeding groups unless there is interest - right now they are in a mixed flock.

Well crud. Blue eggs too!!! There are so many choices. I want them all. maybe 6 of each so I can still get others. I was approved for 36 eggs. Yay!!
