I'm sure everyone does things different. I have had chicken eggs, duck eggs, quail eggs, guinea eggs & peafowl eggs
all in together. With very successful hatching I might add.
Good Luck to you.

thanks i do have teo incubators but thought i'd start out with just the one first

a question if i may how did things go in the hatching stage? they hatch times are different did you start them at different times or all together ?

Yes they hatched at different times. You have to know the stop turning dates & move them out of your incubator accordingly.

If you have two incubators- you could use one as a hatcher for the chickens- Just set it up in 16 - 17 days and put the chicken eggs in. That way you dint have to worry to much with opening and turning duck eggs while the chicken eggs are in lockdown - cleaning up after a hatch is also so much easier when you dont still have eggs in there too.
