Raising chickens is such a fun and rewarding experience, and even more enjoyable when you don't have to worry about potential problems that a poorly designed coop can cause. Welcome to Backyard Chickens! We are glad you joined the flock! BYC is a helpful site providing all of the information you need to know about poultry! There is always space for more members on the BYC roost! How many chickens are you planning on getting? You should expand your coop and run if you decide to add more. A couple of roosting poles will prevent the birds from accumulating on the floor too. Hope you enjoy it here as much as we all do!
