This morning, we discovered three newchicks. Two seemed to have been stepped on and killed and the third was rescued from momzilla the chicken. It is in its own box with the last three eggs that may or may not hatch. What worries me right now is that the chick is having a hard time holding its head up and doesn't seem strong enough to move or get comfy. It's legs seem to be working well but it has yet to stand (hatched today around 10am) and I'm worried that Momzilla may have broken it's neck or something. It has been in this position, or on its back in a similar position since i moved it around 12 pm I've never seen a chick hatch before (never in the right place at the right time) is this normal or should I prepare for the worst? Any advice is apreciated!

My day old broilers slept like that, I always thought they were dead when I would see them, but that's just the way they slept... hope that helps
