The more that I look at them the more I think they aren’t either of those. I’ll have to see some pictures of them in a couple weeks.

Yes I’m curious what they are. The farm insisted they would be either WH or Saxony but we shall see!

I’m feeding them now. They seem desperate for food - well the oldest, Sonny, is. The younger one who is only 30 hours old is pecking a bit and loves drinking but being pushed around by his big brother/sister.

Speaking of food. I’ve been mashing it up but do I need to? It seems so big!
I’ve been gently putting their beaks in the water after they eat.

We’ve taken them out for 10 minutes to feed them but putting them back in brooder now. Sonny is so active!

Toss the pellets in the blender to chop them up a bit.

You can even add some nice warm water and a teaspoon of ACV and make a warm mash for them my ducklings love it.
